aren't there any rights issues?
My mind was made up within nanoseconds of seeing this ad... no back and forth dilemma for me. I mean I do love advertising that tests the limits of what is considered acceptable and what isn't.
But the guy is dead... not like a historical figure kind of dead that you can use shamelessly. Not like the kind of dead you can use to sell a pair of shoes. At least not yet...

i reckon it's great, so what he's dead, people die, may aswell get some shoes out of the fact...and besides, he use to wear them all the time, he's be happy about this.

it's amazing.. who cares if the guy is dead he's legend to all that will care enough to look at the brand. thats the point!!
